Licensing Objectives
Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -
General -
Adhere to all the current legislation affecting this operation, and train staff on an ongoing basis to the standards required.
The style and operation of the premises will not change during the extended hours. Observe all conditions on exciting licence(s) as varied by this licence.
The club will operate under its club rules.
The prevention of crime and disorder -
CCTV system will operate during hours of trading.
All members of the club to have a card with clear identification, including date of birth, the details to be retained in club's systems.
Controlled access at the door to ensure only members and guests are admitted.
Carry out risk assessments relating to the prevention of crime and disorder, the banking of monies taken and continue to liaise regularly with the police.
External area to be included within the risk assessment currently carried out for the unit and any additional measures considered necessary will be implemented.
The external area is secure with access only being possible from inside of the club.
Public safety -
Carry out full risk assessments in respect of fire safety, health and safety, and continue to upgrade these assessments on a twice yearly basis. Premises goes through an audit process on a regular basis to check the validity of the assessments.
The prevention of public nuisance -
The club is committed to being an asset to the local community, and as such will regularly assess the operations impact on neighbours and the locality, including any external areas.
The protection of children from harm -
Junior membership for persons under 18. The membership card is a different colour from others but management staff are usually aware of their identity, but can easily check them. They are kept away from the part of the bar that serves alcohol and are restricted usually to the snooker and pool area.
No unaccompanied children are allowed in the premises after 7.00pm.
