EXISTING CONDITIONS
1. During the period of any Designated Sporting Event as defined in the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) Order 1985 and the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985, there shall be no permitted hours in respect of any licensed bar in the Sixfields Community Complex, save as follows;
a) in respect of the area identified as the Sportman's Lounge on the ground floor West Stand, during the period of any Designated Sporting Event the permitted hours shall be for a period of two hours ending fifteen minutes before the start of the Event itself and for a period of one hour starting fifteen minutes after the end of the event, subject to (i) the said area to operate as a private club during that period and accordingly no member of the general public shall be admitted (ii) the permitted hours so specified shall not commence or finish later than the permitted hours for the licensing district.
b) in respect of all other areas designated as licensed bars the permitted hours shall be as provided by the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985, unless varied.
2. At the request of a police officer of rank not less than inspector where it appears to him that the sale or supply of intoxicating liquor within the grounds is detrimental to the orderly conduct or safety of spectators, the licensees will agree not to open specified licensed areas at specified events at specified times.
3. The area designated as the bar area on the first floor of the West Stand shall only operate on the occasion of a Designated Sporting Event or a previously organised social or business function.
4. There shall be no off sales under the authority of this licence.
5. In the public bar on the first floor of the West Stand, areas of the floor as specified and shown hatched in green on the plan deposited with the Clerk to the Justices shall be hatched to denote that during Designated Sporting Events the drinking of alcohol is not permitted within them. In addition, clear notices approved by Northamptonshire Police shall be displayed in and around these areas during Designated Sporting Events in positions approved by Northamptonshire Police, the said area will be adequately supervised by uniformed stewards.
6. In the areas on the first floor of the West Stand as specified and shown hatched in red on the plan deposited with the Clerk to the Justices, no alcohol shall be consumed by any person under the age of 18 years.
7. In the public bar on the first floor of the West Stand a clear notice approved by Northamptonshire Police shall be displayed above each vomitary stating that no alcohol is to be taken or consumed beyond that point.
8. In the public bar on the first floor West Stand all liquid refreshment will be supplied in plastic or paper containers on days of Designated Sporting Events.
9. In the public bar of the first floor West Stand no more than two drinks shall be served to anyone person at any one time.
10. In the public bar of the first floor West Stand the only alcoholic beverages that may be sold shall be beer, cider and wine.
11. The maximum number of persons permitted in each of the licensed areas shall be in accordance with Fire recommendations and notices to that effect shall be prominently displayed at the entrance to each area.
