• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in                          respect of the premises licence, or 

   

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

• Licensing Objectives

   

  Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -

   

  General - The sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises wil be limited to the restaurants in store.  The sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises is required to ensure seasonal alcohol products may be located at appropriate points throughout the store.

   

  The Protection of Children from Harm - Alcohol products will not be located for sale near to exits/entrances, toy departments or childrenswear.

  All members of staff involved in the sale of goods to the public will be trained to ensure they avoid making sales of alcoholic products to those under the age of 18.

  The premises will display signs at each point of sale remidning customers it is an offence to purchase or attempto to purchase alcohol by someone aged under 18 or for someone aged under 18.  The premises will adopt a "Challenge 21" policy.
