ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General – all four licensing objectives: The premises will operate in accordance with Papa Johns’ corporate policies
and procedures, which are designed to promote all four licensing objectives. Management and staff will work in
partnership with Northampton Borough Council, Northamptonshire Police and other responsible authorities to ensure full
compliance with the Licensing Act 2003 and all relevant conditions of the licence.
All staff have received training in customer service, conflict management, health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing
responsibilities. Refresher training will be provided regularly and records will be maintained on site.
The premises will be managed to provide a safe, clean, and professional environment for customers, staff, and delivery
drivers, while minimising any impact on the local community.
The prevention of crime and disorder: The premises will operate a zero-tolerance approach to crime, disorder,
anti-social behaviour, and aggressive conduct. Staff will be trained to identify and appropriately manage intoxicated or
disruptive customers and will refuse service where necessary.
A CCTV system is installed and maintained covering internal and external areas of the premises. Recordings will be
retained for a minimum of 28 days and will be made available to Northamptonshire Police or authorised officers upon
request. We do also have a 24 hour security company who maintain the property Verisure and we can press a panic
button at any time and the police will arrive.
An incident log will be maintained and kept available for inspection. The premises will be well-lit at all times during
operating hours. Delivery drivers will be briefed on safe and lawful conduct while waiting and during deliveries.
Public safety: The premises will be maintained in a clean and safe condition in line with Papa Johns’ corporate health
and safety standards. Fire safety equipment, emergency lighting, and exit routes are regularly inspected to ensure they
remain fully operational and unobstructed.
Staff are trained for emergency procedures, including fire evacuation and basic first aid awareness. A fully stocked first
aid kit will be available on site.
All electrical, gas, and kitchen equipment are regularly serviced and maintained by competent professionals. The layout
of the premises will ensure safe access and exit for customers, staff, and delivery drivers at all times.
The prevention of public nuisance: The premises is located within a predominantly retail and commercial area with no
residential properties in the immediate vicinity. The operation of the business is therefore unlikely to cause disturbance
to local residents.
The premises will nevertheless take all reasonable steps to minimise noise, disturbance, and litter, particularly during
late-night hours up to 1:00am Sunday to Thursday and 3:00am on Fridays and Saturdays. Staff will encourage
customers and delivery drivers to behave considerately when entering and leaving the premises.
The area immediately outside the premises will be monitored and cleaned regularly.
The protection of children from harm: The premises will operate as a food-led business and does not provide
entertainment or facilities that are intended to attract unaccompanied children during late-night hours.
All staff will be trained to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all customers, including children and young
persons. Any inappropriate behaviour, language, or conduct within or immediately outside the premises will be
challenged and managed promptly by staff.
The premises will be well-lit internally and externally to ensure visibility and safety at all times. CCTV coverage will assist
in monitoring activity and maintaining a secure environment.
Delivery drivers will be instructed not to leave food unattended with minors and to ensure that orders are handed over
responsibly.
