• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or 

   

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

   

• Licensing Objectives

   

  Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -

   

  General -

   

  B) The prevention of crime and disorder

  1.              CCTV system will be installed and images will be retained for 28 days and provided to the police or licensing authority upon request.

  2.              The use of toughened glassware

  3.              Membership of the local Pubwatch scheme where available.

  4.              Membership of any radio link system.

  5.              SIA registered door staff will be employed on those nights where the management believe they are necessary.

  6.              The Management will liaise with the local police as and when necessary

   

  C) Public safety

  1.              There will be regular safety checks carried out.

  2.              Fire risk assessments will be in place.

  3.              Adequate fire fighting and safety equipment will be located in suitable locations within the premises.

  4.              The Management will liaise with the local Fire Authority where necessary.

  5.              Glassware on any dance floor will not be allowed.

  6.              Yearly inspection of electrical installations.

   

  D) The prevention of public nuisance

  1.              Members of staff (including door staff where applicable) will request that customers leave the premises quietly.

  2.              Signs will be positioned at the exits of the premises reminding customers to leave quietly.

  3.              Queues will be managed by door staff to ensure that the potential for noise nuisance is limited.

  4.              All delivery and collection times will be so timed to minimise the risk of noise nuisance.

   

  E) The protection of children from harm

  1.              Those under the age of 18 will not be permitted into the premises after 20.00.

  2.              All staff will be trained in the law prohibiting the sale of alcohol to those under 18.

  3.              Staff will be trained to accept only suitable forms of identification such as passports, photo driving licences and pass cards.

   

   

   

   

• Police Conditions

   

  Any door supervisors employed at the premises shall wear high visibility jackets during their shifts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  This condition applies to those working at the exists and entrances to the premises and does not extend to those patrolling the internal areas of the venue.
