247 Drinks will ensure the following licensing objectives are followed in accordance with the Act. {Please see below.
Depending on the role of those employed, staff will take courses/training in the following to provide them with the necessary skill set and knowledge to follow the licensing objectives.
Elearning courses to be taken in house by delivery drivers and admin staff:

(CPL Learning) - Age Verification
(CPD Learning) - COVID19 awareness course
(CPL Learning) - Award for licensed premises staff
(ITgovernance)- GDPR awareness course
The Prevention of Crime & Disorder
CCTV is installed around the premises covering entrances to the storage container and office.
CCTV footage is retained with ReadySteadyStore policy.
An incident book will be maintained within which full details of all and refused alcohol sales whether over the phone or at delivery. The incident book will be kept on the premises at all times and will be made available for inspection by the relevant authorities.
To prevent crime and disorder staff will take an age a verification course which will give them the skill set to carry out their duties in taking payment only from the customer who has made the purchase over the phone or Online and following procedure in determining age in person of the buyer by the delivery driver.
Through taking the age verification course staff will gain the following skill set:
Outline what an Age Verification Policy should include
State the consequences of failing to implement an Age Verification Policy
Identify who should be asked for proof of age
Recognize acceptable forms of ID
Use effective communication to request proof of age
Deal appropriately with potential conflict situations when refusing a sale
Public Safety
All staff are trained to follow social and legal obligations and their responsibilities regarding the age verification process.
247 Drinks will ensure that all staff receive appropriate training about emergency and general safety precautions and procedures.
Using the skill set gained from age verification course staff will be able recognize acceptable forms of ID and appropriately refuse sales without causing potential conflict situations with effective communication.
A GDPR course will be taken by admin staff and delivery drivers to ensure the safety of customers and appropriately handle customer data. Such as phone numbers and other personal data that falls under GDPR.
During the COVID19 pandemic staff will be required to take COVID19 awareness course for health and safety and appropriately take caution when delivering.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
No customers/clients will be allowed entry into the premises under any circumstances. The premises will only be used as a dispatch point for deliveries.
No loud music will be played in the premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
247 Drinks LTD have put a policy in writing that adheres with the licensing act in responsibly providing alcohol to customers and requiring proof of ID for every transaction upon delivery failure to provide ID we would decline the delivery and keep a record of the transaction.
A challenge 25 policy has been adopted by 247 Drinks where those individuals who appear to be under the age of 25 attempting to purchase alcohol must be asked for identification. The only type of ID that will be accepted are Citizens Card, passport or photo drivers license.
CPL accredited qualification for age verification will be undertaken by all staff members to ensure alcohol is not sold to minors.
