Conditions as Per Operating Schedule
1. No public collections from the premises will take place.
2. Deliveries and collections to take place between 08:00 and 18:00 so as to prevent any disruption to our neighbors or local
area.
3. The business would use couriers to deliver direct to customers and would request that at point of delivery the courier
would request identification if they thought that the recipient was under age and would be able to refuse to leave the
product with them and return the package back to ourselves.
4. We would keep records of refused deliveries due to being unable to confirm age with acceptable ID.
5. Our website would have the standard age related question before customers would be able to continue to place orders.
6. No children would be permitted into the storage area (the cellar) and the cellar would remain locked while no business
activity was being undertaken.
7. All payments would be in the form of electronic payments through the web site so no business takings would be kept on the premises.
The Prevention of Crime & Disorder
The business would be an E commerce business and would be storing Craft Beer on the premises for direct to customer
orders placed via our website. There would be no collections from the premises which would mean no added footfall to the
area. All sales are for off site consumption and there would be no public consumption on the premises.
All orders would be paid for through the web site so no business takings would be held on the premises.
Public Safety
The business would have business insurance to cover our public liability so persons undertaking deliveries or collections to
and from the premises and general public would be covered through this insurance.
Every effort would be made to ensure that delivery and collection risks are accessed and reduce as far as reasonably
practicable. We would also implement a safe delivery plan with all of our suppliers.
No customer collections would take place from the premises reducing the risk of injury to the public.
There would only be myself and my wife working on the premises to collate and despatch the orders we do not plan for
employees to be working on these premises.
The Prevention Public Nuisance
To prevent nuisance to the area and our neighbors all deliveries and courier collections would be planned between the
hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Saturday. No activity would be undertaken on Sundays.
The Protection of Children from Harm
No children would be permitted on the premises during working hours. The storage area would be locked when when no
order collation activity is taking place to prevent access taking place.
Upon delivery at a customers premises our courier would be asked to verify the age of the recipient and request ID if they
believe the recipient to be under the age of eighteen. If no acceptable form of identification is provided then the courier
would be instructed to refuse delivery and return the package to us. We would ensure that as a business we also keep
records of all refused deliveries so that they can be crossed referenced with any future orders.
