LICENSING CONDITIONS
The event organiser must provide written notice to the police and fire service at
least nine months before events involving 5000 or more people, at least six
months before events involving 1000 - 4999 people and a minimum of three
months before all other events.
A comprehensive risk assessment and event management plan must be submitted to the police and fire service no less than 14 days before each event takes place.
All SIA staff and stewards must sign in on a register prior to the commencement of duty. This register must contain the individual’s name, date of birth and in the case of door staff SIA badge number. The register must be kept on the premises at all times when it is open to the public and at all other times at the head offices of the company providing the security staff for the event. This register must be made available to an officer from a responsible authority upon reasonable request.
All staff will have coloured high visibility outer clothing, (Blue SIA) (Yellow Stewards) (Orange Supervisors) (Blue & Yellow Managers) (Purple Event Manager).
The premises will operate and adhere to a drug policy. This policy will be fully documented and be kept with the event management plan. The document will be made available to an officer from a responsible authority following a reasonable request.
SIA staff and stewards will be employed at the premises based upon a threat & risk assessment performed by the premises management and a decision as to whether to employ SIA staff or not will documented in the venues written risk assessment including any rationale as to why this decision was reached. A copy of this risk assessment document should remain at the premises and be submitted to the police no less than 14 days before each event takes place.
The use of the area hatched red on the plan shall not exceed more than one weekend per year and be limited to audiences of up to 4,999 people.
The use of the area hatched blue on the plan shall not exceed more than seven weekends per year and be limited to audiences of up to 499 people.
Events shall not occur on consecutive weekend.
Stage orientation to be directed towards housing that is located furthest distance from the event area.
Where feasible to rotate the location of events to reduce exposing the same residential receptors to music.
