The premises Licence holder ensures that the attainment of the Licensing Objectives forms an integral part of the day to day management policies and practises at the premises.
A CCTV system is operated and maintained that conforms to the provisions of the Data protection Act 1998 and meets the requirements and expectations of the Police and Licensing Authorities. The system opersates at all times the premises are open. Recordings are kept for a minimum of 28 days and a member of staff who is trained and able to retrieve recordings from the CCTV system upon reasonable request of an authorised officer.
A working Intruder alarm is in operation at the premises.
Drinks are not sold in open containers, spirits must be displayed behind the sales point and are not available for self service.
The premises licence holder and staff endeavour to discourage persons from gathering outside the premises without jeopardising their own safety. Any individual identified as a street drinker is refused service.
The premises utilises the Think 21 protocol of Age Verification whereby any person who does not appear to be 21 years of age is required to produce ID in the form of a Passport, Photographic Driving Licence, a HM Forces ID Card or an ID card that incorporates the PASS hologram logo.
A written record of all staff training is kept and all refusals recorded in a refusals register which must be produced upon reasonable request of an authorised officer.
