ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ADDITIONAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS.
The following mandatory conditions are to be applied to the licence stated above in accordance with section 3 (1) of The Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010.
The following conditions shall come into force on 1st October 2010
4. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
Operating Schedule Conditions
CCTV is installed that complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will record images in real time at all times the premises is open for business.. Recordings are kept for 31 days and a member of staff is trained and available to retrieve recordings within 24 hours of a request by an Authorised Officer. The system is set up to ensure frontal identification of every person entering the premises.
All incidents of crime and disorder are reported to the Police.
An Incident book is used to record all instances of public disorder
Prominent, clear and legible notices are displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
The Challenge 25 Age Verification Scheme is in use and a refusals register kept up to date with details of all refusals.
Staff are trained in the relevant aspects of the Licensing Act 2003 including underage sales and serving alcohol to those intoxicate. A register of who, when and the subject matter covered is kept up to date. refresher training is undertaken every 6 months.
