• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in                          respect of the premises licence, or 

   

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

• ADDITIONAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS.

  The following mandatory conditions are to be applied to the licence stated above in accordance with section 3 (1) of The Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010.

   

  The following conditions shall come into force on 1st October 2010

   

  4. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

   

     (2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

   

   

• Licensing Objectives

   

  Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -

   

  The Licensee shall ensure that all staff will undertake training in their responsibilities in relation to the sale of alcohol, particularly with regard to drunkenness and underage persons.  Records will be kept of training and refresher training.

   

  A digital CCTV system shall be installed incorporating recording and viewing facilities.  Any recording shall be retained and stored in a suitable and secure manner for a minimum of 31 days.

   

  The CCTV coverage shall include coverage of all public entrances and exits from the premises; the area directly in front of the entrance to the premises; the till area and all the areas where alcohol is stored and displayed.

   

  The CCTV system will be maintained and fully operational throughout the hours that the premises are open for any licensable activity.

   

  There will be someone at the premises who can download the images and provide a copy recording or a request by Police or Local Authority officer within no later than 48 hours of such request.

   

  All emergency exits shall be kept free from obstruction at all times.

   

  All customers will be asked to leave quietly.

   

  Clear and legible notices will be prominently displayed to remind customers to leave quietly and have regard to our neighbours.

   

  The Licensee and staff will ask persons who appear to under the age of 25 for photographic ID such as proof of age cards, the Connexions Card and Citizen Card, photographic driving licence or passport, an official identity card issued by HM Forces or by an EU country, bearing the photograph and date of birth of bearer.  The Challenge 25 logo and posters will be displayed at the premises.

   

  All staff will be trained for underage sales prevention regularly.

   

  A register of refused sales shall be kept and maintained on the premises.
