• ADDITIONAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS.

  The following mandatory conditions are to be applied to the licence stated above in accordance with section 3 (1) of The Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010.

   

  The following conditions shall come into force on 1st October 2010

   

  4. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

   

     (2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

   

   

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in                          respect of the premises licence, or 

   

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

• Operating Schedule Conditions

   

  A CCTV system is in place which complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and meets the requirements of the Licensing and Police Authorities. The system is recording at all times the premises is open and recordings are kept for a minimum of 28 days. Sufficient staff should be trained to uses the CCTV system allowing recordings to be retrieved upon reasonable request by an authorised officer.

   

  Spirits will be displayed behind the sales point so self service of spirits is not possible.

   

  No alcoholic drinks to be taken from the premises in open containers.

   

  No external plant is to be installed without planning consent and without compliance with any conditions attached to such consent.

   

  The Challenge 25 proof of age scheme is in operation. I.d required is a passport, photographic driving licence, HM Forces ID Card or an ID card that contains the PASS logo.

   

  A refusals register (paper or electronic) is used and maintained. It is available for inspection on request by an authorised officer.

   

  Staff will be trained in relation to their responsibilities under the Licensing Act, and a register of who and what training has been received is kept up to date.
