Licensing Objectives
Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -
CCTV shall be provided covering the trading area and cash tills. recordings shall be kept in date order, numbered consequentially and recordings kept for 31 days and copies made available to the police and other autorised officers on request. selected staff will be trained in the use of the CCTV equipment to ensure requested copies are made available immediately or within 24hrs if trained staff not on duty. The recording equipment and recording formats shall be kept in a scure environment under the control of the DPS or other nominated responsible individual.
Appropriate signage in relation to CCTV will be displayed in conspicuous locations
B & M will maintain liaison with the police regarding any issues relating to the premises.
The ndisplay of alcohol will take up no more than 10% of the trading area.
All staff to be trained in 'security awareness' as part of their induction training
Staff to be instructed that alcohol may not be sold to anyone who is believed to be drunk.
The premises will be subject to ongoing risk assessments linked to the physical aspects of the premises
The car park area or area immediately in front of the store shall be inspected on a regular basis and management and staff shall use their best endeavours to prevent loirtering by customers in those areas.
Initial and regular refresher training sessions for staff in the sale of age restricted goods.
Tills for the use of alcohol sales with have an electronic prompt for the operator in relation to age restricted sales.
To compile and maintain a refusal book (checked and signed by the DPS or duty manager on a weekly basis) which will be made available to authorised officers on request.
