  This licence is granted on the condition that the restrictions contained within the enactments specified under the Licensing Act 2003 Schedule 8 (1 & 6) are adhered to.

   

  ADDITIONAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS.

  The following mandatory conditions are to be applied to the licence stated above in accordance with section 3 (1) of The Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010.

   

  The following conditions shall come into force on 6th April 2010

   

  1. (1) The responsible person shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises.

   

     (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises in a manner which carrries a significant risk of leading or contributing to crime and disorder, prejudice to public safety, public nuisance, or harm to children-

   

                (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require or encourage, individuals to-

                             

                              (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the perod in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or

                              (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise);

   

                (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic (other than any promotion or discount available to an individual in respect of alcohol for consumption at a table meal, as defined in seciton 159 of the Act;

                (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the pruchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less;

                (d) provision of free or discounted alcohol in relation to the viewing on the premises of a sporting event, where that provision is dependent on-

   

                              (i) the outcome of a race, competition or other event or process, or

                              (ii)the likelihood of anything occurring or not occurring;

   

                (e) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional posters or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner.

   

  2. The responsible person shall ensure that no alcohol is dispensed directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of a disability).

   

  3. The responsible person shall ensure that free tap water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

   

  The following mandatory conditions are to be applied to the licence stated above in accordance with section 3 (1) of The Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010.

   

  The following conditions shall come into force on 1st October 2010

   

  4. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

   

     (2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

   

  5. The responsible person shall ensure that-

   

                (a) where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having ben made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures-

   

                              (i)   beer or cider: 1/2 pint;

                              (ii)  gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and

                              (iii) still wine in a glass: 125 ml; and

               

                (b) customers are made aware of the availability of these measures.

   

   

   

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in                          respect of the premises licence, or 

   

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

• Conditions

   

  Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -

   

  There must be no admission or re-admission to the premises on any day after 03.00a.m.. This will not prevent a person from leaving the premises for a short period for the purposes of smoking tobacco.

   

  On any day the premises remains open for licensable activities after 22.00 hours SIA registered security staff must be employed in the following ratios:

   

       2 for the first 100 patrons

       an additional 2 for the next 200 patrons

       a further 1 for every additional 100 patrons or part thereafter

   

  The management and staff will at all times comply fully with the Police and other Authorities

   

  An incident log shall be maintained and be made available on request by an Authorised Officer.  Intervention of Door Supervisors to remove a customer will be recorded as barred or ejected in the exclusion/banning log.  Entry refusals and reasons must be recorded for refusal of entry or refusal of service.

   

  A refusals book must be maintained and made available on request to an officer from a Responsible Authority.

   

  Crime prevention notices shall be posted at the request of the Police or an Authorised Officer

   

  The Premises Licence Holder, Designated Premises Supervisor or Duty Manager shall maintain a register indicating the name of the person in charge of the management of the premises, numbers of staff, performers (where appropriate) and any door supervisor, showing their names and SIA license numbers. The Duty Manager, DPS or Premises Licence Holder shall at all times upon request by the Police provide a contact number for the door security. SIA registered door staff must wear high visibility jackets.

   

  CCTV equipment shall be maintained that conforms to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1988, the specification of which must be approved by the Police. Recording must be made until the premises ceases to be open to the public. Such recordings to be retained for 30 days. Sufficient members of staff must be trained in data retrieval so that such data can be made available on request by the Police at any reasonable time. Camera locations/positions must be approved by Northants Police and include the designated routes for ejecting customers, the outside frontages and the smoking area.

   

  Written risk assessments must be maintained, monitored and regularly updated relating to health and safety, fire risk and any other legisdlation in relation to safety and welfare of members of the public and staff.

   

  The Premises Licence Holder will ensure machinery and/or equipment associated with the running of the business does not cause noise or vibration. Emptying of bottles or skips and similar style activities will not take place between 22.30 and 08.00. No sound shall be allowed to emit from the premises as to cause nuisance to occupants of residential properties. If required to do so at any time by the Licensing Auhority's Environmental Health Officer the Premises Licence holder must install a sound limiter, the type and setting of such limiter to be approved in advance by the Licensing Authority's EHO.

   

  The premises to adopt a protocol of age verification whereby any person who does not appear to 25 years of age will be required to produce ID in the form of a passport, photographic driving licence, H.M. Forces I.D. card or an identification card displaying the 'PASS' Hologram logo. Relevant posters must be displayed.All stafff must be trained in the age protocol and a record maintained.

   

  The maximum capacity of the premises will be limited to 550 persons, including staff, or any other maximum number resulting from consultation between the premises licence holder and Northants Fire & Rescue Service.

   

  In the case of any Temporary Event Notice submitted for the Premises, the operators of said Temporary Event Notice will carry on licensable activities adhering to the existing conditions within the Premises Licence.

   

  All products are to be served or decanted into polycarbonate glasses/cups.  This condition will not apply to champagne or wine served in bottles in VIP area(s).

   

  Any changes to the venue management policy document to be notified to the Licensing Authority and Northants Police within 14 days.
