• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in                          respect of the premises licence, or 

   

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

• Licensing Objectives

   

  Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -

   

  General - 

                       The management and staff shall co-operate fully with any agency to ensure that the promotion of the Licensing Objectives is actively supported.

  Prevention of Crime & Disorder -

                       To maintain membership of any local pubwatch scheme where such scheme exists, to regularly attend meetings and to abide by the rules and decisions.

                       To maintain an intruder alarm system. 

                       Will have a positive responsibility to monitor the promotion of the Licensing Objectives and control measures will be implemented to prevent offences of drunkenness and disorder, and all members of staff will be trained in the awareness of the importance of the responsibilities they hold.

                       An incident log shall be maintained and be made available on demand of an authorised officer.

                       At the request of the Police or other statutory agency crime prevention notices shall be displayed when so requested.

                       The Premises Licence Holder, Designated Premises Supervisor or Duty Manager shall maintain a register indicating the name of the person in charge of the management of the premises, numbers of staff, performers (where appropriate) and any Door Supervisor showing their names and SIA Licence numbers.  The Premises Licence Holder, Designated Premises Supervisor, or Duty Manager shall at all times on request of the Police provide a contact number for the company providing the door security.

                       CCTV equipment shall be maintained that conforms to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1988, the specification of which must be approved by the Police, such recordings to be retained for 31 Days.  Sufficient members of staff must be trained in data retrieval so that such data can be made available on request by the Police at any reasonable time.

                       Drinks to be served in Polycarbonate Vessels.  No drinks to be served in glass after 23:00 hours, excluding the sale, supply and service of French Champagne in bottles served in the VIP area.

                       There will be no admission of Patrons to the premises after 02:45 hours (this shall not exclude re-admission of a patron who has left the premises for the purposes of smoking tobacco).

                       Any entertainment promotions shall be under the direct control of the Premises Licence Holder.  Any promotions organised by a specialist promotion company shall be notified not less than 10 days in advance to Northamptonshire Police, who shall have the right of veto if in their opinion such promotion might compromise the licensing objectives.

  Public Safety -

                       Written risk Assessments must be maintained, monitored and regularly updated relating to health & safety, fire risk and any other legislation relating to safety and welfare of members of the public and staff.

                       The maximum number of persons permitted on the premises at any one time, including staff and performers shall be 700.  Should a Formal fire risk assessment allow for a higher rate of maximum occupancy of the premises that maximum occupancy figure shall be disregarded.

  Prevention of Public Nuisance -

                       The Premises Licence Holder will ensure machinery and/or equipment associated with the running of the business does not cause noise or vibration.  Emptying of bottle skips and similar style activities will not take place between 22:30 and 08:00.

  Protection of Children from Harm -

                       The management will support the challenge 21 scheme and appropriate signage will be displayed.  They will ensure a system of staff training is in place.  Persons under 18 years of age shall only be admitted to the premises during trading hours for attendance at a bone-fide specified event organised for such persons at which event the sale and supply of alcohol is forbidden.
