Licensing Objectives
Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder -
A close circuit television system offering sufficient coverage of the store will be in operation during trading hours with all equipment being maintained in good working order.
Images will be retained for a minimum of 31 days and made available to any Responsible Authority upon reasonable request.
A register of all major incidents of crime and disorder will be kept.
The premises will be fitted with an industry standard approved Intruder Alarm System.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance -
A regular litter pick of the stores external areas will be undertaken each day to ensure that all litter is disposed of.
Signage will be displayed asking our customer to be respectful of our neighbours when leaving the store.
Protection of Children from Harm -
A staff training programme will be in operation and will cover the sale of all age restricted products with special emphasis upon the sale of alcohol to young persons, drunken people and persons who may supply alcohol to underage persons.
All staff training will be document and retained for inspection on site.
All training will be refreshed on a regular basis and a signed record of this training will be retained.
An age recognition scheme such as Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 will be in place, with notices of the scheme being prominently displayed at the entrance and within the store.
An electronic till prompt system will operate to inform the staff member when an age restricted product is scanned at the till to remind staff to check the age of the purchaser.
An electronic register will be in operation to record all challenged and refused sales, listing, the date, time, product and staff members name. The log will be available for inspection by any of the Responsible Authorities upon reasonable request.
