• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Mandatory condition: exhibition of films

   

  (1)              Where a premises licence authorises the exhibition of films, the licence must include a condition requiring the admission of children to the exhibition of any film to be restricted in accordance with this section.

   

  (2)              Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.

   

  (3)              Where -

   

  (a)              the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or

  (b)              the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,

   

  admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any                  recommendation made by that licensing authority.

   

  (4)              In this section -

   

                “children” means persons aged under 18; and

  “film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39)

  (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).

• Licensing Objectives

   

  Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -

   

  Prevention of Crime & Disorder -

  24hr SIA Security on site. CCTV surveilance.  No Alcohol.

  Public Safety -

  Risk Assessments for specific events & provision of event SIA trained staff & provision of specified event location.

  Prevention of Public Nuisance -

  1. Noise from outdoor events on the premises shall not be audible at the boundary of any nearby noise sensitive premises.

  2. Condtion 1 may be breached up to a maximum of four times between 1 January and 31 December, subject to the following conditions.

  2.1 The date and start time of each event shall be notified to the Council at least seven days in advance.

  2.2 The maximum music noise level during an event, for live and recorded music, shall not exceed 65dBA1 at the boundary of the nearest noise sensitive premises.

  2.3 Each event shall last no more than four hours from the start time notified in Clause 2.1.
