Conditions requested by the Police
1. The Premises will be a member of the Northampton Pub Watch Scheme
2. If customers take drinks outside on the Colonnade they will be in plastic containers or toughened glass.
3. Best endeavours will be used to prevent customers from bringing bottles into the premises and to prevent them leaving with bottles or open containers (except for genuine off sales or where external seating areas are being used).
4. The premises will maintain a CCTV system to the reasonable requirements of the Police and will retain recordings for 31 days which will be delivered to the Police on request (subject to the Data Protection Act 1998).
5. Persons who look under 18 will be asked for ID before they will be admitted to the premises at certain times or on certain occasions, or sold alcohol. Staff will be trained and their training will include this aspect and the need for vigilance. The only ID that is accepted will be that approved by PASS, photo driving licences or passports.
6. If necessary, notices will be displayed warning customers of prevalent criminal offences.
7. Under 18's will not be permitted in the premises if the style of entertainment offered of operation is not conducive. This will include exclusion if
- adult entertainment is proposed
- a strong element of gaming is proposed
8. Under 18's will not be permitted in the premises
-after 1900 hours at the manager's discretion.
-During any Happy Hours of similar promotions
9. If events are held on the premises for children (ie those aged under 18) the Northampton Area Local Licensing Policy for Under 18 Events will be adopted.
