ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ADDITIONAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS.
The following mandatory conditions are to be applied to the licence stated above in accordance with section 3 (1) of The Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010.
The following conditions shall come into force on 1st October 2010
4. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
Below are the additional steps that you have agreed to undertake to promote the four Licensing Objectives and which form a part of the operating schedule for these premises: -
All staff at the premises will be trained to ensure they understand the law in relation to the sale of alcohol. Refresher training will be given on a regular basis. Records of training will be kept and made available to officers of responsible authorities upon request.
CCTV will be installed and maintained at all times and will be to a specification as required by the Police. A person will be trained to access recordings as requested by auhorised officers. Recordings will be kept for 30 days
No alcohol sales will be made to anyone who appears intoxicated by alcohol.
Challenge 25 will be utilised at all times and anyone who appears to be under 25 will have to provide photo I.D in the form of an approved proof of age identity card, passport or photo driving licence. A sign saying "No proof of age - No sale" will be displayed in a prominent position at the point of sale.
A refusals/incident book will be kept and maintained up to date detailing all incidents relating to alcohol refusals and other age related products. This will be made available to authorised officers on request.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
There must be at least one Personal Licence Holder at the premises when the sale or supply of alcohol takes place.
