Conditions attached to Operating Schedule
1. A CCTV System which conforms to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 is installed within the premises. The system will cover all public areas. There will be a camera sighted so that it covers the point of entry and images are of sufficient quality to afford facial identification of persons entering the premises. The CCTV system will record all images whilst the premises is open to the public.. Images will be retained for at least 28 days. At all times the premises are open to the Public a suitably trained member of staff will be available to provide copies of the recorded footage on suitable media (compact disc/USB stick - to be supplied by the premises) to a Police Officer or authorised officer, at reasonable request.
2. Notices will be displayed at the exits requesting customers to leave the premises quietly and to respect the neighbours when using the outside areas
3. A challenge 21 policy will be employed where anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 and are attempting to purchase alcohol will be asked to provide identification that they are over 18. The only type of identification that will be accepted is a passport; photo driving licence, military ID card or PASS accredited identification.
4. A refusals register is maintained and kept up to date. It is available on reasonable request of an authorised officer.
5. An incident log is maintained and kept up to date.
6. A working intruder alarm is fitted at the premises
7. All staff are trained in relevant licensing matters including underage sales and serving to those already intoxicated. A written record of training is maintained which includes who and when trained, and the subject matter. Refresgher training is provided every six months.
8. Spirits will be kept behind the point of sale and will not be available for self service.
9. All alcohol is stored securely
